The Trial of Charles Taylor

AFP is reporting that former Liberian vice-president Moses Blah says he has been subpoened to appear in the Taylor trial on April 14. Blah, Charles Taylor’s vice-president at the end of his rule, is quoted as saying that he is to testify regarding the fate of the late RUF commander Sam Bockarie. AFP also quotes John Richardson, the head of Charles Taylor’s defense association, as saying, “Blah is a credible individual, someone who comes from what we will say is a close range circle (and who) knows.”
