The Trial of Charles Taylor

by Eric Witte

This morning defense counsel Terry Munyard resumed his cross-examination of Mustapha Mansaray.  Mansaray wore a gray button down shirt and often spoke with his eyes downcast.  Technical difficulties have made covering the first session difficult, so a running commentary was not possible.

Munyard methodically questioned Mansaray concerning multiple payments he or his family members received OTP.  Munyard established that the witness received funds for his health problems (including an eye operation), for his wife’s medical problems, for his child’s medical expenses, meals, and transportation.
